Works have completed for the renovation of a modernist building, located in the heart of Highgate. Built in the 1960's as a self build project by an academic architect couple, the project has focussed on understanding the original design intent through extensive research of historic documents, photographs and original construction drawings, thus introducing sensitive interventions. The building is designed as a series of interconnecting rectangular volumes framing a rear landscape of newly planted mature silver birches accessed through a fully glazed rear facade.
