A collaboration between Duggan Morris Architects, Karakusevic Carson and Riches Hawley Mikhail have won a competition to design canal-side housing in Brentford, West London for client ISIS, the development arm of British Waterways. The project named Brentford Lock West, is for Phase 1 of a multi-phase regeneration scheme to provide over 500 residential units, along with a variety of commercial and retail uses to re-invigorate an industrial site on the fringe of the town centre.

From the outset this collaboration of three small, emerging practices, has been working closely to develop a refined approach to the site masterplan, to achieve a genuinely share proposal, one where individual buildings can actively contribute to our wider aspirations for Brentford Lock West.
