Fairhazel Gardens

Project: A project to over-clad and extend a mid-20th Century property in a conservation area in Finchley, North West London.
Value: £600,000
Client: Regal Homes Ltd
Status: Complete

Planning constraints governed the height of the new brick built extension, sized to match the height of a previously removed electrical substation on the site. The existing building has been transformed with a new skin of brick work to compliment the side extension, whilst new windows in an irregular pattern are formed across both houses.

The extension is completed with a cranked roof, designed to allow views of its landscaped surface and beyond, the context of the surrounding Victorian properties and rear gardens.
